Half Level: Alyx
Before the resurrection of Freeman there was the resistance. Half-Life: Alyx is the first brand new half-life experience in seemingly eternal time and sees the future companion Alyx Vance in a major role. As VR titles, players invite weapons realistic, fight against the combination and draw gravity gloves to manipulate objects. The title for VR devices on the PC will appear in March, but a more detailed date of publication is not yet fixed.
Decay
The first title of V1 Interactive is a fascinating science fiction FPS, in which they actually fight out of the air. They command a gravcycle with a group of soldiers fighting on the ground, providing substantially air support in battles. Various weapons and skills come into play and it does not take long until enemy gravcycles appear to challenge you. Although the concept looks pretty rough, we are interested in the campaign. Disintegration will be released later this year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Halo Infinite
A new engine and a renewed focus on Master Chief - 343 Industries attract all registries for Halo Infinite. We know little about the story, except that the boss wakes up to save the day. Once again. What is okay, since Halo's strength is always the shooting game, the level design and the pace. How is the multiplayer mode look like? Will Firefight return? What about players adaptation, ranking, forge and all the other good things? Halo Infinite is available in this Christmas season for Xbox One, PC and Xbox Series X. Further details can be found on the E3 2020.
Honor medal: over and over
Again, we only know very little about the game except that it is developed exclusively for VR and published on Oculus Rift. Players will control an OSS agent who has been discontinued to Europe during World War II, with French resistance struggling and at the same time destroyed the Nazi bases. And yes, multiplayer is included.
Rainbow six: quarantine
A continuation of the Operation Chimera of Rainbow Six: Victory, Rainbow Six: Quarantine takes place in the future in a few years. The extraterrestrial parasite is back and stronger than ever before. Three troops have the task of eliminating him. With "completely unpredictable" missions, quarantine focuses more on the PVE side of things while maintaining the tactical shooter elements of victories. It is available this year for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Bright memory: infinity
Developer FQYD gave an impressive debut with Bright Memory: Episode 1, a network of ego shooting and hack-and-slash fighting with some great graphics. In every respect, it was a glorified demo, but Bright Memory: Infinite will build a complete game. The rapid action is still intact together with the history of the sro and its supernatural investigations. There is no release date, but the owner of Bright Memory: Episode 1 receive a 100% discount.
Witchfire
The witchfire of astronauts apparently did not have many great announcements, but the development has steadily developed since the first revelation in 2017. With a dark fantasy approach that is inspired by Dark Souls, massive enemies and handsome gunay, Witchfire is to be published this year for the PC. It is not a looter, but it's also a kind of looter. Do not ask.
Crossfirex
Entertaining fact: SmileGates Free Game FPS Crossfire was first released in 2007 and has achieved sales of more than 10 billion US dollars. Crossfirex is a bit different beast, which will be released later this year for Xbox One and offers a single player campaign developed by Remedy Entertainment. Multiplayer is also included, but we will see how well the formula holds nowadays, especially on Xbox One.
Battlefield 6
According to Electronic Arts, Battlefield 6 is officially in work. The shooter will eventually be published between April 2021 and March 2022 and aimed at next-generation consoles as the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. While this does not mean competition for Call of Duty this year, but it is hoping that he offers a truly revolutionary experience (especially in multiplayer mode, where Battlefield 5 failsed).
Cyberpunk 2077
The next big title of CD project Red is primarily a role-playing game. However, it is also a shooter, which takes place from the perspective of the first person and offers all types of firearms and melee weapons to destroy enemies. Define your play style and use the different life paths, branched side quests, places and customization paths for all kinds of interesting results. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on 17 September for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia.
Overwatch 2
Blizzard provides Overwatch 2 as a continuation, with a story campaign, heroic skills, progress trees and updated looks for all characters. Overwatch 1 player, however, see how their cosmetics transmits and have access to the new modes and cards. Also, both clients are finally merged. Confusing? They bet, but the advanced PVE mission design should be a good alternative to multiplayer mode. OverVATCH 2 is currently being developed for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Call of Duty 2020
It was obvious that there would be a new call of duty this year (and next and next). However, this year's repetition is interesting due to the rumors. Apparently, Sledhammer Games and Raven Software developed the title, but tensions between the two led Treyarch to the project manager. It is essentially a new black ops title with the story that plays during the Cold War. Whether it is a cross-level or a restart, is not yet known, but exists. Expect the publication in autumn 2020.
Payday 3
The only FPS on this list that is farthest is expected to be published between 2022 and 2023 (possibly for next-generation platforms). The project was announced in 2017, which means that it had a development cycle from 5 to 6 years until the publication. If payday 3 can capture the tension and serenity of its predecessors, we are on board. Until then we will wait.
Atomic heart
They are a KGB agent who was sent to examine a mysterious facility that is suspended after air. Sounds typical, but in Mundfish's Atomic Heart is a bit more going on. As action-rpg / ego shooter with melee, craftsmanship and a little stealth, it plays between the 1930s and 60s with advanced technology such as robots. Despite all its great graphic, rumors circulated about a newly started development, changes in gameplay and layoffs. No publication date was announced yet, but it is still in work.
