Battlefield 2042 is in the starting blocks and could be tried in an alpha on the weekend. That is, some selected influencers and professionals were allowed to participate in a technology test and play the new shooter. It should probably have the Xbox Series X a technically very good figure, even better than the PC. The PS5, however, apparently had more serious problems, which is why the test had to be completely canceled there just before the start.
Battlefield 2042 allegedly even better than on the PC on Xbox Series X
Successful technical test: At the weekend, many insiders, professionals and other chosen has ever been able to try out how well an early version of Battlefield 2042 is running. At least when she had been invited to the alpha or the technology test.
Apparently, the early version ran well, especially but on the Xbox Series X. Allegedly, the Xbox version should even run Smoother as the PC version. This is at least that usually very reliable, well-networked and mostly informed journalist and insider Tom Henderson. He relies on non-detailed reports of others.
However, it remains unclear which Xbox version should be meant exactly. After all, Battlefield 2042 appears on two Xbox console generations, each comprising some very different devices. Whether the Xbox One version is just as smooth and good as the Xbox Series S- or even Xbox Series X version, we do not know. Of course, the PC experience can vary greatly, depending on what is in the PC in it.

Technology test for PS5 had to be canceled just before starting
No successful PS5 alpha: Originally, the technical test should take place on the PS5, but it did not come to that. The builds have already been tested in the background in the background to enable crossSplay alpha on the weekend.
Apparently a critical error was discovered directly in the submitted PS5 build. That's why the alpha test phase was canceled for those with a PS5 before the beginning. Anyway, this reports the lead community manager on Twitter:
