The alleged rumor about the performance of Xbox ONE does not seem to be true.
While there is many very big games this year, cyberpunk 2077 has the chance to be one that stands above all. The game should originally come out in a few months in April, but had to accept a delay until September. Rumors went around that a large part of the reason for the delay was poor performance in the Xbox One version of the game. Now it seems as if one of the developers had over all the theory with cold water.
Gott of the war director Cory Balrog has recently been twisting on an article on the rumor and said it is customary that a game runs very badly on any system prior to the final release of gold (here is a link to tweet). Balrog is quite successful, but if his word is insufficient, the official CDPR forum developer Benztimmern has underpinned the assertion.
Cory Barlog hit the nail on the head, she wrote. Of course we optimize for the Xbox One, the PlayStation and the PC, because that's what you do in the last sections of game development. While the game is made, many things are not optimized because they are all in the river, change and still do not finish.
As simple answers like, they have delayed the game for X could provide a good rumor, but not much truth. There are always many reasons. Among them, and I can speak for myself by just fixing mistakes so that the game is as good as possible. No hidden plans to work only to make the game better.
Ultimately, the game only seemed more time in the oven and it was not about a specific system. The developer says that the wait is worth the end, regardless of which system you will play the game on September 17.
