The GTA-Publisher Take-Two confirmed at the beginning of the year itself that the company would not be averse to publish Remaster's old GTA parts. Through a hunting of Rockstar on Vice City Mods, the rumors were cooked again on possible GTA new editions.
An internal report by Take-Two over three unannounced new editions thus declared the conclusion that the three titles could be Remaster by GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA 3. As Kotaku now confirms, the Remaster now seems to be on the way to us.
GTA trilogy is still 2021
When exactly come the Remaster? Kotaku has learned of three trusted sources that the three GTA games as a trilogy will appear in the fall of 2021, more precisely at the end of October or early November. All three games will only buy it in bundle, and only one digital version is planned.
Originally it was planned to give away the trilogy as a bonus for buyers of the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S ports from GTA 5 and GTA online. Then the responsible persons wanted to prefer the release at the beginning of 2021, but the plans have changed again and so the Remaster trilogy appears only in the fall of 2021.
What can I expect from the Remaster? The development of the Remaster should be involved in the developer studio Rockstar Dundee, which also involves the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S version of GTA 5. GameplayTechnically, the Remasters should keep strong on the original titles of the PS2 era.
Optically, on the other hand, the Unreal Engine is to be used and the graphic polish a bit. The titles should provide a mix of "new and old graphic". A source has already seen excerpts of the Remaster and claims that the graphics remind them to a strongly evident version of the GTA games. The user interface also updated, but retains the well-known style.

Rumors could be true
For which platforms the trilogy? In addition to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S versions, there will also be a version for Nintendo Switch. In 2022, the versions for PC and mobile should follow.
Where Kotaku has this info? Kotaku holds his sources anonymous. But the sources have predicted weeks or even months before reliably updates in GTA Online and Read Dead online predicted. Therefore, the editors estimates this information about a GTA trilogy as extremely trustworthy.
But as always we should enjoy the rumors with caution. It could be that the release moves again and the trilogy will appear at a later date. It could even be that currently no trilogy of GTA-Remasters are in development.
What we can rely on are the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S versions of GTA 5. All this is what you know about Xbox:

What about GTA 6?
The big new project is currently in development. Rockstar and Take-Two have so far not betrayed anything about GTA 6. So we do not know exactly which setting the new GTA titles will have. According to rumors, it could happen back to Vice City.
But as it seems, the release of GTA 6 is removed years away. Several sources confirm that and the release will expect at the earliest 2023. So we have to wait a little until we can play GTA 6. But until then we can distribute the waiting time with the possible Remaster trilogy. Everything about GTA 6 can be found in our review article.
