A wave of graphic improvements is on the way to The Elder Scrolls Online: Ansole Enhanced as part of the launch of the WAKING FLAME DLC. This means that the ESO community has a lot of adjustments to wait, especially PC players.
If you have a PS5 or Xbox Series S | X, you're probably experiencing the new features and graphical upgrades of the game, but for PC players, these changes have been deployed slowly over the last year. The main objective of this update was to try to get closer as possible from a solid 60 IPS in ESO performance modes on PS5 and Xbox Series S | X. The Waking Flame DLC also allows a dynamic scaling of the performance mode resolution, which means that each console may display the highest resolutions it can provide 60 frames per second.
The main features include:
- Imize on the dynamic scale of the resolution activated for the performance mode on Xbox Series X | S and PS5, scaling the resolution on Xbox Series X and PS5 between 1080p-2160p and on Xbox Series between 1080p- 1440p
- _For all the consoles, with the exception of the basic PS4 and the basic Xbox One, a new HDR mode known as "by default" arrives in the Waking Flame DLC, a brand new parameter to keep the 'Appearance desired from the original illustrations of the game while taking advantage of the increase.
- _For players who prefer ESO's appearance in HDR right now, this mode will remain an option under the name "Vibrant" _
- For PC players, the console's multiThead rendering setting that made its debut with Angled Console in June will arrive on PC via a new attack beta setting, a functionality to improve image frequencies.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Waking Flame will be available on August 23 for PC / Mac and Stadia, then August 31 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PS4 and PS5.
