Phil Spencer is an American organization executive, who is the current executive vice-president of Pc gaming at Microsoft. He is currently the head of the Xbox brand name as well as leads the worldwide creative and engineering groups accountable for video gaming at Microsoft.

While Sony and PlayStation have invested heavily in VR at the end of this generation - with the assumption that this will be the case in the future - Microsoft has focused its forces on other areas. Much of their Next-Gen presentation focused on the profitability of their multi-subscription services and the performance of their new hardware, and the most recent words of Xbox boss Phil Spencer suggested that VR was worth investing for Microsoft. Just as Sony doubled on their own position.
However, if you think that Microsoft still does not attention to virtual reality, do not fool yourself. Spencer talked about VR again in the GamerTag radio podcast and first realized what previous statements to VR meant. Although Xbox did not focus on VR, Spencer knew nothing about it.
There are a lot of people I know and work on good VR titles, great VR titles, and I'm not trying not to support that, he said. My most important point was that I wanted to make our customers clear what we focus. So if someone has been waiting for us to bring out a VR headset for the X, for sales or so, then we will not do that.
Spencer further explained that he is confident that the VR will continue to grow and improve, and that it will ultimately grow to a level where Microsoft looks at the VR support for your games as a breeze.
[We] will never close our eyes in front of where things go, Spencer said. I do not hope it disappears - I hope it will get bigger. I hope it is something that is so important that it would be a breeze for us to support it.
Of the two Next-Gen consoles, the PS5 Werden feature support for Virtual Reality is. However, do not expect that a PS VR 2 is started directly next to it.
