Tomorrow ends the beta fromnew World. We want to summarize what happened during the test phase and with you together with you a final conclusion before the release on 31.08.2021.
That was the beta: On July 20, the beta started to the new MMORPG from Amazon. All players who had pre-ordered the game or had luck with the key raffle could play along. The servers of the beta close their doors tomorrow and they have to wait patiently on the 31.08.2021, because then New World appears.
The beta already had the full functionality of the game, if it was not a final version of New World. The MMO has been moved several times but should now offer the following key features for the release:
- A class system without class, where you are what you are wearing
- A crafting system that you can use to make the best equipment
- Player-Housing in different areas
- 3 playable fractions
- Quests, events and dungeons
- PVP battles with up to 100 players in different modes
- A story that is told in the open world
What happened in the beta? Unusual for a beta is, among other things, that you land in the top 3 on Steam: Shortly after the start of the beta, New World was able to attract 187,726 players at the same time and even pass to GTA V.
Especially in the beginning most players have probably not played, but spent their time in the part hours queues. Because New World's servers have not grown the enormous rush at players at the beginning, but the problem could soon get under control.

But many bizarre things have happened in the beta of New World and caused a stir. Lastly, even naked players ran through the world and played Banjo, while other players took the beta to grow rich that rebellions were planned against them.
Not only in the game itself a lot has happened, even on Twitch, New World could hit much enthusiasm, but also criticized partly much criticism. The great MMORPG streamer Asmongold called the game last as "waste" but still "good game". He was fully involved in the beta and helped another streamer to recover her account after being banned as she has milked a cow.
Despite the partly curious news, we can assume that the New World Beta for Amazon was a complete success. This not only prove the number of players on Steam, but also the general interest in the game on Twitch and also with us on Meinmom. The release of New World and whether the MMO is ready for it would recently picked up in our podcast.
The Hype around New World and the Forefraces on the MMO are as big for a new MMO as well as the beginning of 2019 as the online shooter anthem appeared. Hopefully, New World is better than for Anthem at that time.

Your opinions are mixed
How satisfied are you? Already shortly after the start of the beta, we have asked you in a survey what you think of the beta until then. The results were clear because two-thirds of you voted "good" or "great!". This led in the comments but partly to long discussions that showed that not all players are satisfied with the beta.
Much of our users write in the comments that a longer development time would have done well. Nevertheless, you agree: New World is basically no bad game. It will provide variety on the western MMORPG market.
