A new -liga the update is available in Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X along with the official patch notes. At the time of writing this article, the update was launched less than an hour ago and is not currently clear how big the file size of the update is. In other words, we do not know how long it will take you to download the update. What we do know is what makes the update, courtesy of the patch notes mentioned above.
In particular, the update temporarily eliminated the game chat of the game, noting that it is not up to modern standards. To this end, you are working on a new and improved voice chat system, but you will not be ready until the beginning of 2022, which presumably means that there will be no voice chat in the game for several months.

Voice chat
We are temporarily eliminating the voice chat with V2.04. As many of our players know, the current voice chat system does not meet modern standards, which makes it difficult to use in a fast-paced game environment. We are also aware that some players experience performance problems when they use voice chat in the game (some kind of retardation half the match or service interruption) and we do not want voice chat to hinder the quality of the game. Earlier this summer, we said that we are working to carry an improved and more complete voice chat system to Rocket League. We are on the way to bringing the voice chat to the game at the beginning of 2022. We will share more details once we are closer than the voice chat returns next year.
