All members of the Xbox Insider program regularly receive the chance to test new features for Xbox consoles above all others. With the latest update, a new feature for Xbox Series X / S consoles was added, which is especially interested in the night owls among you.
New night mode for Xbox Series X / S
What is the new function? The current system update includes a night mode that you can find in the settings. This allows you to reduce the brightness of the screen and set a blue filter. But it can not only be adapted to the screen itself, also the LED display on the Xbox controller and the Xbox Series X / S can be set in the brightness.
Tom Warren is the author of The Verge and Member of the Xbox Insider Program and shows us on Twitter, which customization options the feature allows:

In night mode, you can also set whether your HDR would like to allow. Furthermore, you can choose between a bright and dark color scheme whose start times can customize. It is even possible to set the change of the color scheme after the real sun level.
Benefits for Xbox Insider
When is the night mode for all? Microsoft has not expressed itself until the feature finds the way to us. However, experience does not last long until all can enjoy the night mode.
Unfortunately, the feature is currently only available in English speech output. However, as soon as the function is available for all owners of an Xbox Series X / S console, further language outputs are supported.
