Microsoft and 343 industries announced during E3 2021 in June that Halo Infinite would appear again this year, and Xbox boss Phil Spencer briefly said that the shooter's developer team continues to hold on to this schedule.
During the Halo Infinite development update, Head of Creative Joseph Staten and community director Brian Jarrard confirmed that the exact release date of the game has not yet been announced, but definitely still planned for Christmas 2021. 343 Industries and Microsoft are currently in the last details, and a date will be announced according to Staten and Jarrard very soon.
I would like to admit that it is a little uncomfortable that we talk about things just before the release, and openly we have not said an official publishing date, said Jarrard. But I just wanted to confirm again, and how we heard about Phil Spencer, he recently made an allusion - this game will definitely appear [to the holidays], we are determined to publish it to the holidays. And we are pretty close to it, I think - we are working on a few details, as far as the actual date is concerned.
Staten added: This is absolutely correct. We are 100 percent determined to publish the game this year, both the campaign and our first free-to-play multiplayer season. We only have to work out a few details, and we will talk very soon about our actual release date.
