The German Basketball Champion and Cup winner Alba Berlin continued the slight upward trend in the Euroleague at the start of his Bosphorus week.
In the catch-up game of the 21st matchday, the capitals won at Fenerbahce Istanbul 66:57 (37:27) and attracted their chance to the move to the playoffs.
With eleven victories and 14 defeats, the Bundesliga club is at least within reach of the playoff ranks. Yovel Zoosman was the best shooter for the team of coach Israel Gonzalez with 20 points.
Alba had to replace four players in Istanbul. In addition to the long-term injured Marcus Eriksson and Louis Olinde, Captain Luke Sikma and Tamir Leaf were added two Corona cases.
Zoosman makes the difference
